Quarterway Pub - 1431 Bowen Rd 754-2733
Barperson -
Servers - Sherri (my favourite, now gone and replaced by Christin), Janel, - probably the best servers around and both terrific; know customer's names & favourites.
Ambience - very friendly
Clientele - generally male, elderly + posties hang out here. Majority drink their beers in draught glasses. Note that cellphones only work near the window, which is the corner by the pool table & smoking room and is the best table in the house.
Food specials
Mon - Steak & 6 Prawns $7.95, Tues - 2pc fish n chips $6.95, Wed. - 1lb dry ribs & fries $6.95, Thursday - beef dips w fries $5.95, Fri - Steak sandwich $6.95.
Beers (local drafts) - Pipers, Okanagan Spring Ale (that's what I drink here)

Ambience - right on the Newcastle Island channel with open patio. Large, friendly and busy
Clientele - mixed, harbour boat people, elderly couples & younger. Interestingly, don't play Keno or Pull Tab.

There are usually 2 other different daily specials + soup & sandwich for $6.95.
Sunday - Prime Rib Diner $9.95 - 4 - 9
Tuesday - 1/2 price limited menu - 11 - 2 - 10 prawns peel & eat $1.99 - 6-9
Wednesday - 2pc cod & chips $8.95 all day
Friday - 8oz sirloin $9.95 - all day
Saturday - varies
